A short policy, because there is not much to disclose. This website carries no advertising and no third-party tracking scripts.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small files a site can store in your browser. Related technologies — localStorage and sessionStorage — let a site keep information in your browser without sending it with every request. This policy covers both.

2. This website

The public website you are reading does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and loads no third-party tracking scripts. It requests no resources from other hosts at all. Because of that there is no consent banner here — there is nothing non-essential to consent to. If that changes, this page will change first and a proper consent mechanism will be added.

3. The application

Strictly necessary

Signing in to the application stores information in your browser that is necessary for it to work: an authentication token that keeps you signed in so you are not asked for a password on every screen, and a record of which plant or site you are currently working in so the application shows the right data. Without these the service cannot function, and they are not used for tracking.

Preference

The application may remember interface preferences you set, such as light or dark appearance and whether the navigation rail is collapsed, so it looks the way you left it. It may also hold unsent draft content locally so that a half-completed record is not lost if a tab closes.

Offline capture

Where offline capture is used on a device, records you enter without a connection are stored in the browser’s local database until they can be synchronised. This is your data, held on your device, and it is not shared with anyone.

Analytics

We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising cookies in the application. If we introduce analytics, we will update this page, distinguish it clearly from strictly necessary items, and provide a means to decline non-essential use.

4. Third-party cookies

We do not knowingly set third-party cookies. If you follow a link from here to another site, that site’s own practices apply; please review its policy.

5. Managing cookies and storage

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under privacy or site settings. You can also use private browsing. Blocking or clearing storage for the application will sign you out and clear remembered preferences, and clearing it while offline records are queued may discard them before they synchronise — so please synchronise first.

6. Do Not Track

Because we do not track you across sites, there is no cross-site tracking behaviour for a Do Not Track signal to change. We do not respond to it separately.

7. Changes

If our use of cookies or browser storage changes, we will update this page and the review date above.
